You can create an exact copy of your current program while starting the data at 0 miles in the new program. This is a great way to setup a program for a special event and keep the mileage separate from the original program.
- Select the program, you want an exact copy of, in the teal-colored box at the top of the screen.
- Click on “Edit My School” at the top-right and then click on the “Programs” tab.
- Once you’re in the programs tab, click the "Add Program" button.
- In the pop-up window, select “Based on *current program name*”. Click “Continue”.
- Then, it will ask if you want to retain the students from the current program. Select “Yes” and click “Continue”.
- Next, it will ask if you want to advance students or leave them as they are in the *current program name*". Select "No Change" and click “Continue”.
- Then, it will ask if you want to retain mileage from the *current program name*?" Select “No”. Click “Continue”.
NOTE: This will not delete any data in the existing program, it will just start the new program at 0 miles.
- Name your new program and add a start date & end date. Click "Finish".
- You're new program is now created on the website.
IMPORTANT - to get this new program to show up on your scanning devices, log out of the EZ Scan app on all devices. Then, log back in with the username and password. Once you log back in, click the Sync Now button. This will send the changes you made on the website to the EZ Scan app on your device. Now when you start a session the new program will appear as an option.
