We suggest conducting a practice session 1-2 weeks before your start date with your volunteers and a small group of students.
This will help ensure everything is functioning as needed.
1. Print your QR Cards. Click here to see how: https://ezmileageclub.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000037229-how-do-i-print-the-qr-codes-
2. Download the EZ Scan 2 app on all devices you plan on scanning with: Click here to see how: https://ezmileageclub.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000581398-how-to-download-the-ez-scan-2-app
3. Start a normal scan session (you'll notice that there's a practice session button, but for this test, you'll want to start a real session to test how the data syncs)
a. Here is how to scan and sync data: https://ezmileageclub.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000351983-how-to-scan-and-sync-data- using-the-ez-scan-app
4. Once you've scanned data and synced, log in at ezmileageclub.com and check the students' mileage/run a report
a. To check mileage, go to Class Sheet, find the class that they're in, and then they should have a purple distance bar to the right of their name.
i. Click on that purple distance bar to view the laps.
b. Run a report. Here is how to do this (I suggest running the Spreadsheet "Laps" report and that will tell you which laps came from which device): https://ezmileageclub.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000214395-generating-reports
5. After you've viewed the data, you can delete it so that your students will start at zero when your official start date comes. Here is how to do that: https://ezmileageclub.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/36000306435-how-to-edit-and-delete-laps-miles-
6. As always, be sure to sync your devices before your next session any time you make changes in your account at ezmileagelub.com (such as deleting laps, adding students, editing names, etc.)
